Welcome to my website I am an amateur photographer living Foothills of North Carolina. I like to take event photos and the occasional landscape and sports photo.
When it comes to event photography there are two events that I have focus on. They could not be more divergent. They are both hobbies of mine. First is the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) the SCA is a group of individuals who recreate various aspects of the Middle ages and earlier. We like to say that if it was done during the middle ages then someone in the SCA has done some research on it and may be able to teach it to you.

My other hobby that I also use as a subject for my photography is the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) IDPA is dedicated to safely test your skills with defensive hand guns design for Every Day Carry (EDC). There are group in every state and several foreign counties. At the local level I help design and run the matches that we hold on a regular basis. There is a heavy emphasis on safety through IDPA.

As to my gear I am a Nikon shooter having started with Nikon D5100 and couple kit lens and then adding DX and FX glass to collection mostly Nikon and Tamron lens. I now shoot Photos with a Nikon D750 with a battery pack and I'm loving it. I hope you enjoy my photos...
